Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is supposed to meet Chinese President, Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the SCO summit on Thursday in Tashkent. Though China is not in favour of India's admission to the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), but on Thursday itself it has mentioned that this is no way going to affect the bilateral ties.
Hotelier Ramesh Kakkar's petition against NDMC official, M. M. Khan was sent from Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung's office after a day Mr. Khan was murdered. Five days before he was killed, the Lt. Governor's office had sent another petition to NDMC. According to reports, Mr. Khan had refused to accept the bribe offered by Kakkar for revoking the cancellation of license deed for his hotel in Connaught Place, Delhi. In 2015, his hotel was sealed by NDMC for not paying the tune of Rs 140 crore to the council.
