The Supreme Court, Delhi, rejected the names of candidates who are aged above 70 for the post of administrator in BCCI. As per reports, amicus curae Gopal Subramaniam and Anil Divanas were asked by the court to suggest names of individuals below 70 for the respective posts.
The appointment of BCCI administrators has now been deferred to 30 January by the court. Names recommended by the Attorney General and State associations will also be considered.
As per reports, two militants were killed in an encounter with the security forces in Hadoora area of Ganderbal in Jammu & Kashmir. The incident took place on Tuesday.
According to the preliminary reports, the militants were hiding in the area. The operation is still going on.
Two AK-47 rifles were recovered from the militants.
