HRD Minister Asks Board to Continue with Grace Marks as CBSE 12th Result 2017 Delayed

As per reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may not declare the 12th result today.

As mentioned by Prakash Javadekar, the Union Human Resource Development Minister, CBSE will give grace marks to the students.

This came after a ruling was passed by the High Court yesterday where the CBSE board was asked to come back with the 'marks moderation policy' it had scraped.

India's First Underwater Rail Tunnel Completed before Scheduled Date

As per reports, boring the country’s first tunnel under the Hooghly river have been completed by two entities implementing the East West Metro Afcons Transtonnelstroy and Kolkata Metro Railway Corporation Ltd. It will help to establish metro link between Howrah and Kolkata.

The deadline of this project was July 2017.

The total length of the project is 16.6 km long, out of which 10.8 km are under the ground.
