24 November 2018 Current Events India loses to England in the semi-finals of ICC World T-20 women's cricket

The women's Indian Cricket Team lost to England in the semi-finals of the World T-20 Cricket Championship. Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian captain opted to bat first, winning the toss. However, the team scored only 112 runs against England in 19.3 overs. England scored the target in only 17.3 overs.

The loss has indeed raised criticism against the Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who decided to not to include the senior-most player and former captain - Mithali Raj. However, she told that she is proud of the way the girls played and has no regrets for her decision.
