Jaganmohan Reddy released from jail


Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, the YSR Congress president was released from the jail after almost 16 months. He came out of the Chanchalguda Central Jail at 4pm to an overwhelming welcome of hundreds of supporters assembled at the main gate of the jail. The MP from Kadapa received them with folded hands. He also requested the people to let his convoy pass which took him to Lotus Pond in Jubliee Hills, his residence. He was there in a bullet proof car and was surrounded by security personnel. He had been granted conditional bail in disproportionate assets case by a special court. CBI arrested him in May last year.

Ex Army Chief Singh's statement creates furore


V.K. Singh, the former army chief has claimed that the ministers in the Jammu and Kashmir government were paid out of army’s secret funds to destabilize the Jammu and Kashmir government. This has led to furore, and there have been demands that what he has alleged should be investigated. Farooq Abdullah the former CM of Jammu and Kashmir has stated that CBI inquiry was needed to find who all received the funding and how it was done. Sushilkumar Shinde, the Union Home Minister has stated that Singh should name the ministers so that the matter can be investigated. As per the reports Singh is embroiled in the controversy where it has been stated that the army’s secret funds were used to topple the state government in Jammu and Kashmir government and that Ghulam Hasssan Mir, the state minister received Rs. 1.19 crore for that. Though Mir had denied this and has stated that it was for development work. The National Conference (NC)-Congress combine which forms the government in the state has dismissed the fact that any minister received secret funds. It was also stated that if any minister was found to have received any funds he would lose his job. Singh then tried to explain his shocking statement by saying that the funds were given to the leaders to spread brotherhood and not as bribe.

Aamir in a double role in Dhoom 3


There is more in store for Aamir Khan fans as Dhoom 3 supposedly has two of their favorite actor. Aamir will be seen in a double role in the third edition of the moving up for release soon. Already there is a lot of excitement with Aamir playing the negative role and now as per the latest news he will be also seen in a positive role where he will essay the character of a good brother. Now as per rumours the good one is ailing so the other brother turns bad. Reportedly Aditya Chopra wanted to surprise the viewers, but it seems these days surprises are difficult to keep.

CAB files petition against Srinivasan


CAB or the Cricket Association of Bihar has submitted petition at the Supreme Court to restrain N. Srinivasan so that he is not able to contest for the position of the BCCI president at the AGM on 29th September. It has also pleaded for an interim injunction to restrict the BCCI from including Srinivasan in any of its committees. The Supreme Court will take this matter for hearing on 27th September. CAB had earlier too filed a petition wherein it sought to challenge the order by the Bombay High Court order regarding the inquiry committee of the BCCI which dealt into the probe related to corruption in the IPL. It was specified that a fresh probe panel was not appointed.

BSNL and MTNL ink agreement


BSNL and MTNL will work hands in glove to offer better services to the consumers. Today they signed agreement wherein it is specified that infrastructure and enterprise business will be shared to increase operational execution and better customer services. They are up for offering an affordable solution on pan India basis and sharing of resources will effectively bring the costs down. In this way towers, intelligent networks, toll free services and ducts will be shared and this would lead to enhancing the customer services. In the future it would also be seen how free roaming can be offered to the customers. BSNL has operation in 20 circles in India while MTNL operates in Delhi and Mumbai zones.

9 million models of iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c sold


As many as 9 million models of iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have been sold by Apple. This was just three days after the launch on 20th September. In the weekend following that 5 million devices were sold and the sales figure has surpassed the experts figure that of 6 million to 8 million models. There has been 200 million downloads of Apple’s new OS, iOS 7. iPhone 5s scores in the speed factor as the dual core processor which is 1.3 Ghz is believed to be the fastest. What has captured the imagination of the users is the gold phone. This time Apple has deviated from its traditional black and white variants and has opted for gold, silver and space gray.
