25 April 2017 Current Events 2008 Malegaon Blast Case: Bombay High Court Grants Bail to Sadhvi Pragya

As per reports, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur's bail was granted by the Bombay High Court on Tuesday. She was accused of plotting blasts in Maharashtra's Malegaon in September 2008, in which six people lost their lives. However, another prime accused Lt Col Prasad Purohit's bail has been rejected by the court.

While Purohit's bail plea was rejected, it was observed by the NIA court that all military documents as well as other evidences in his support would be considered at the time of trial.
