After resigning from BJP's Rajya Sabha, Navjot Singh Sidhu has not joined any political party yet. Clearing the facts, his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu said that her husband is in the US for a motivational lecture with a corporate firm, which is his primary job. He and the family is still not sure about being associated with any political party.


Rajnath Singh-Mehbooba Mufti Discuss State's Security Situation

Home minister Rajnath Singh met Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti met on Thursday to have a discussion on the security situation in the state. A joint press conference was held by them in Srinagar, where Mufti mentioned that 95 percent of the Kashmiris want to settle down the situation with dialogues, whereas five percent of them are trying to derail the process.


Dec 16 Delhi Gangrape Convict Attempts Suicide in Jail

A convict in the December 16, 2012 Delhi gangrape case, Vinay Sharma tried committing suicide inside the Tihar jail on Wednesday. He has been hospitalized and is under medical observation. According to reports, the convict tried hanging himself from an iron grill in his cell and was stopped by a Tamil Nadu special police personnel after being spotted. As per reports, Sharma was on medication as he was suffering from depression.
