25 February 2020 Current Events Violent Clash Broke Out in the Streets of Delhi

A fresh clash broke down in the streets of Delhi on Monday over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). In the violence, five people lost their lives and by late evening at least fifty people were injured. The clash is believed to be between pro and anti-CAA protestors. Many houses and shops were burnt, petrol pump was also torched by agitators in Bhajanpura areas. Stones, pieces of bricks and glass shards lay strewn on road and plumes of smoke bulged out from houses, shops and vehicles.
