BJP says will form government in J&K

The BJP declared today that it would form the government in Jammu and Kashmir with the PDP. Mehbooba Mufti, the chief of the PDP, would be at the helm of the government. Media reports quoted the BJP as saying that the government will be formed on the basis of the Agenda of Alliance. The Alliance will remain unchanged.

David Headley tells Mumbai court he hated India

David Headley told a Mumbai court that since childhood he had hated India. As per media reports, Headley, who is serving a 35-year jail term in the United states for his role in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, said he wanted to inflict the maximum loss and damage in the country. Explaining his hatred, Headley said that on December 7, 1971, his school was bombed. He claimed that the school was destroyed and everyone working there died.

Fortune names Kejriwal among the world's 50 greatest leaders

Fortune magazine has named Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal among the world’s 50 greatest leaders. Kejriwal, who ranked 47 on the list, is the only Indian leader featured on the list. The magazine has credited the Delhi chief minister for his effort to combat pollution in Delhi. Kejriwal implemented the scheme of allowing vehicles with odd and even numbers to ply on the roads of Delhi on alternate days.

Indians stuck in Brussels return home

The nightmare for Indian stranded in Belgium came to an end as a Jet Airways flight with 214 passengers and 28 crew members reached Delhi early morning. The people stuck stranded in Belgium following the Brussels blasts. As per media reports, Flight 9W 1229 from Amsterdam arrived at the airport in Delhi around 5:10 in the morning. After 145 people got down off the plane, it departed for Mumbai.
