Dhoni works on his instincts while playing - Ashwin

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) spinner Ravichandran Ashwin said that skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni goes blank and without preconceived notions to the field and works on solely his instincts. By winning a match against Kings XI Punjab on Saturday night, CSK is now at the top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table. Spinners Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja played exceptionally well and helped team to win match.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemns manual scavenging and asks for cooperation to get rid of this

In “Mann ki Baat” Radio programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about manual scavenging and expressed regret that we still have manual scavengers in India. He appealed that everyone in the society should cooperate to get rid of this spot during the 125th birth anniversary of Babasaheb Ambedkar which is going to be celebrated this year. He added that what was not done 20 years, we have pledged to do that in 20 months.

Diageo asks Vijay Mallya to step down

New owner of United Spirits, Diageo has asked Vijay Mallya to step down as Chairman and Director of the Indian liquor firm for diverting funds. But it was straightway rejected by Vijay Mallya. Diageo said so after a probe that reports "various improprieties and legal violations" while giving loans by USL to various UB Group companies. Vijay Mallya called all these allegation false and unjustified.
