26 December 2019 Current Events Last Eclipse of India Began on Thursday

Several parts of the country are witnessing decades last solar eclipse including Odisha, Kerala, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi and Maharashtra. Popularly known as "Surya Grahan" in Hindi, solar eclipse began around 8:17am in the morning on Thursday and will continue till 10:57am today. The event holds a lot of religious significance where Hindus avoid eating anything during the eclipse. A lot of devotees have also reached Ganga Ghat in Varanasi for a holy dip.
