Rs.15.12 crore on opening day for Race 2

Director duo Abbas-Mustan's action thriller "Race 2" grossed Rs.15.12 crore at the box office on its opening day on Friday. The film got released in 3,200 screens which is the third largest number till now as per Gaurav Verma, director - India Theatrical Distribution, Studios, Disney UTV. The movie which is a sequel to 2008 film "Race" has in its cast John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez. Only Saif and Anil were again cast in the sequel. 

Padma Bhushan for Dravid, Mary Kom

 Rahul Dravid and M.C. Mary Kom were named for the Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian award while six other sportspersons were been included in the list of Padma Shri awardees. Padma Shri Awards would be given to London Olympic silver medallist shooter Vijay Kumar, bronze medal winning wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, para athlete Hosanagara Nagarajegowda Girisha, boxer Ngangom Dingko Singh, mountaineer Premlata Agrawal, and rower Bajrang Lal Takhar. Dravid, who retired last year featured as the only cricketer to receive the award this year. He had received the Padma Shri award in 2004.

Now FaceWash for Facebook

If a  user unintentionally ‘like' a Facebook page which may be embarrassing for him then now they will have the option to clean up their Facebook pages with a FaceWash. Developed by a trio of undergraduates from Kent State University this web app will comb through the contents of a users Facebook page that the user thinks of deleting or hide. This may have  photo captions, comments or updates done by the user or received by the user. The user will need to go to FaceWash site and then log into Facebook and allow the the app to access content of the user. It is still in its developmental stage but has got more than 20,000 visitors. The app developers are adding more features to the app.
