Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar has resigned. The development took place following a meeting Nitish had with Kesari Nath Tripathi, Governor of Bihar, after a standoff with RJC chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. The meeting took place after Yadav maintained that his son Tejashwi would not resign from the post of deputy chief minister of Bihar.
