JNPT at Mumbai hit by ransomware

According to reports, one of the three terminals of JNPT Mumbai was impacted by ransomware attack. JNPT official reported that the operations at Gateway Terminals India, GTI, have come to a standstill due to the malware attack. The Shipping Ministry has confirmed that one of the terminal of JNPT has come under ransomware cyber attack. The ministry is closely monitoring the situation.

Netherlands backs India's UNSC and NSG bids

According to reports, the Netherlands has backed India's entry into the Nuclear Suppliers Group, NSG, and other multilateral export control regimes. According to the joint communique issued after the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte in Hague, the Netherlands also supported the country's bid for a permanent UN Security Council seat. India and the Netherlands also strongly condemned the use of double standards in addressing the menace of terrorism, saying there can be no justification for acts of terror on any grounds.
