28 March 2019 Current Events Shopian Encounter: Three Terrorists Were Killed

An encounter took place early this morning when teams of CRPF and Army were attacked by terrorists. Three terrorists were shot dead during this encounter which took place in the Keller area of South Kashmir district. The identities of the dead terrorists are yet to be known. All the weapons are now in the custody of the agencies that have been collected from the encounter site. It was reported that terrorists who were hidden openly fired during the morning at the security forces at Yarwan village during a search operation. As per the Jammu and Kashmir police, it has been informed that another series of encounters are taking place at Handwara which is located in Kupwara district.
