Judge Suspended over Granting Bail to Gayatri Prajapati

As per reports, Justice Om Prakash Mishra was suspended by the administrative committee of the Allahabad High Court for granting bail to former Uttar Pradesh Minister Gayatri Prajapati, who was accused in a gangrape case.

The court has seized all powers of the additional District and Sessions Court judge.

The suspension of the judge was confirmed by Registrar General of the high court DK Singh on Saturday.
