Suspended BJP Leader Arrested in Bihar

Suspended BJP leader, Dayashankar Singh, who made a derogatory remark against BSP chief Mayawati, has been arrested in Buxar, Bihar on Friday. Singh was arrested in a joint operation which was led by two Indian states, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, Singh's family has also threatened of filing an FIR against the party as they have claimed harassment by BSP members.

Nine Dead as Pune Building Collapsed

A cement slab of an under-construction building collapsed in Balewadi on Friday, killing at least nine labourers. Deputy Commissioner of Police, (zone-III), B Teli mentioned that the labourers were working on the 13th floor when the slab caved-in. He also said that the rescue operation is still going on.

Senior Leader Capt Ajay Yadav Quits Congress

Senior leader and former minister, Capt. Ajay Yadav has announced of quitting congress. As mentioned by him, he felt humiliated as Kamal Nath tried undermining his prestige. He announced his decision through a series of tweets, while yet to hand over his resignation to the party. Yadav has no plan to join any other party.
