An aggressive speech by Narendra Modi at Japanese Park in Rohini


Narendra Modi gave a powerful speech at Japanese Park in Rohini on 29th September. Before him Navjot Sidhu, Vijay Goel and Nitin Gadkari delivered their speech. Stage was as elaborate and impressive as was the speech. There were two LED screens by the side, and lotus in the middle having various slogans like Badlegi Dilli, badlega Bharat.  Narendra Modi unveiled the new mission of his governance and revealed that he is not a ruler but a worker - “I am only a sevak, not a shashak”. He asked everyone to trust BJP, his work and history. He assured that neither BJP nor he will break the trust of his people. Government has just one religion for me that is nation first. Present dependence of the government on the first family has also been attacked by Modi. Along with this he called the Prime Minister weak as could be insulted both by the "shahzada" and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. According to him our country at present needs a dream team rather than a dirty team. The team should work on new dreams and new jobs and when we will celebrate our 75th anniversary then we will be prosperous country in every sense. His words also hit Delhi CM Sheila Dixit. He stated that she is doing the easiest job of just cutting the ribbons. All the departments were attacked by him for not performing well.

Kashmir is an integral part of India says PM


Prime Minister Manmohan Singh emphasized that he totally agrees with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif for better relationships between the two nations. He also said that Pakistan should stop being “the epicenter of terrorism”. This was said by him ahead of his talks with Nawaz Sharif at US. Before their meeting Nawaz Sharif has said that this is a new commencement with Delhi. Regular disputes in the region of Jammu and Kashmir were halting the bilateral talks earlier as well. Recently on Thursday, a militant group had attacked a police station and an army camp in Srinagar in which at least 10 people were killed. While delivering a speech at the UN General Assembly on Saturday, Mr Manmohan Singh had said that Pakistan must not use area of Kashmir that is under its control for terrorism if it wants the progress to be made with Delhi. He also lays stress that Kashmir is an integral part of India. Further he said that lots of resources have been wasted in an arm race that could have been used for the economic development.

Microsoft revealed user data request made by India


321 user data requests have been made to Microsoft (including Skype) by India between the months of January to June. For the year 2012 the total number of requests to Microsoft from India was 471 that also include Skype. In its second law enforcement request report Microsoft shows the details regarding number of requests made by law enforcement agencies globally and how the company has responded to them. This also includes the requests for data concerning entire online and cloud services of Microsoft. Out of total request by India, 80.6% of the requests have been shown. For 16.2% no data was available and 3.2% of the requests were rejected by the company. For the requests related to Skype from India, Microsoft provided data for 79.1% requests, whereas 18.6% of the total requests made were rejected and for 2.3% requests no data was found. Microsoft said that it takes request from all over the world. 73% of the total requests are from five countries viz the US, Turkey, Germany, the UK, and France. The US, the UK, France and Germany make 70% of the Skype related requests. Working on the same, other technology firms like Google, Facebook, Twitter and Yahoo will soon be releasing information related to government data request.

BCCI released nominations for various offices


Narayanaswamy Srinivasan will be re-elected as president of the Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India for a third year. But still it is not clear whether on Monday he can take charge or not as the Supreme Court is yet to decide the matter pertaining to the petition filed by the secretary of the Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) on Monday. CAB is not recognized by the BCCI. CAB said that N Srinivasan must not be allowed to re-elect as a president because his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan who was the senior official of Chennai Super Kings (a team at Indian Premium League) has been chargesheeted for making a bet in the Twenty20 tournament (sixth edition). In the same application to the Supreme Court it has also been asked by the CAB secretary Aditya Verma that BCCI must not nominate Srinivasan for any of its committee. He should also not be allowed to take part in the proceedings of the board in any form. But Srinivasan has not made any comment after his unanimous election. As Arun Jaitley and Niranjan Shah, do not want to be caught up in controversies so they were not present on the day when nominations for different offices were released. Anurag Thakur (Himachal Pradesh) is a new Joint Secretary, Anirudh Chaudhary (Haryana Cricket Association) is the Treasurer, Sanjay Patel (Baroda) is Honorary Secretary, Sneh Bansal (DDCA), Rajiv Shukla (UP) and Ravi Savant (Mumbai) are new Vice Presidents.

Actor Rajat Rawail is out of Bigg Boss


Here comes the turn of second contestant to evict the Bigg Boss House. He is an actor Rajat Rawail who has recently been nominated to leave the house of the reality show "Bigg Boss-Saath 7. The actor said that he needs to practice more on his body and mind to be into such reality shows. Better known by the name of his character ‘Tsunami Singh’ in the movie Bodyguard, he had started missing his daughter in the second week of the show. Further he said that he was the only married contestant and also unwell due to acidic attack. When asked about any change in the house he said the diet plan and food quantity must be planned according to the contestant. According to Rajat Tanisha, Arman, Elli and Sangram have the chances remain till end but it is too early to predict the winner of the show. The actor who is over-weight has made plans to workout and will come as a different person on the finale. Also he said that he will visit the psychiatrist to cure his phobias. All he wanted is to be a changed man. Superstar Salman Khan is hosting the show.

Mars Mission got green signal


India got green signal for its Mars Orbiter Mission and this will help India to fulfill two main objectives. One is conducting significant experiments like finding signs of life, taking picture of Mars and study its environment and the second one is to prove the world that India is capable and has technical abilities to send a satellite to orbit around Mars. So India is all set with its Mars Orbiter Mission. The Mission is scheduled to be launched on 28th October. Green signal to this Rs 450 crore ambitious endeavour has been given by these national committee of experts. To get this an extensive presentation on the mission was given by the senior scientists from Indian Space Research Organisation. The committee that has given the go ahead consists of eminent personalities such as former ISRO Chairman U.R. Rao, and Roddam Narasimha (space expert).


The launch window that was previously kept between 21st October-19th November has now been extended by a week and now starts on 28th October. But the final date is still the same that is November 19. If weather permits then the launch would be done in the afternoon on October 28. At present Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) spacecraft is at ISRO Satellite Integration and Testing Establishment and undergoing vibration and acoustic tests. On 30th September it is schedule for shipment to the Sriharikota spaceport after the review by a pre-shipment committee.
