Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to meet his council of ministers later on Thursday. There is a probability of reshuffling the cabinet. As per the reports, the ministers' performance will be reviewed and they will be asked to come up with presentations on the work they have done in the past two years.
The National Investigation Agency has released 6 out of 11 persons on Thursday, who were detained on Wednesday in a terror raid in Hyderabad. According to the NIA officials, there are five main accused, and the six who have been released, tried to help the accused. The five accused will be produced in the NIA court on Thursday.
A fire broke out at Wafa medical store in Andheri, in which eight people were killed. The incident took place at 6 am on Thursday. The medical store was on the ground, on the first and second floor, families lived. Apart from the eight dead, one person is severely injured. The cause of the fire is suspected to be short-circuit.
The seventh central pay commission had recommended some changes in the pay of around 1 crore individuals in November 2015. On Wednesday, Finance Minister, India Arun Jaitley has mentioned at a press conference that the Government of India has decided to accept the recommendations of change in the pay of 33 lakh central government employees, 52 lakh pensioners and 14 lakh armed forces.
