After introducing several charges like garbage user charges, approving professional tax, hiking licensing fees, and increasing commercial property tax rates, penniless South Delhi Municipal Corporation is mulling to levy 'compensatory regulatory charges' to bring some money in its empty fund. The civic body has proposed to impose this new charge when new building construction gets sanction. It will depend on the area and its prevailing circle rates.
