The states such as Kashmir, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh were shaken. As the tremors were felt in Chandigarh as well, the players of new Indian Premier League team, Gujarat Lions, were evacuated from their Mohali hotel on the eve of their first match. Even some parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh also felt the tremors. The tremors continued for at least 4-5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A powerful 6.6 magnitude earthquake, which had its epicenter in Afghanistan\u2019s Hindukush mountain range, shook north India. The tremors of the earthquake could be felt as far as Delhi. The Delhi metro halted its operations due to the intensity of the earthquake. The earthquake has hit Afghanistan, India and Pakistan.
