Anna\u2019s battle against corruption enters its third day<\/span><\/p>\n

On Thursday, the third day of his fast, Anna Hazare interacted with his supporters who have gathered to support his agitation.
\nThe doctors examined Anna\u2019s medical condition and reported that he has lost about one kg by the end of the second day of his hunger strike. His blood pressure has risen above normal but his determination seems to be roaring-high. He doesn\u2019t seem to back out.<\/p>\n

Anna Hazare led his last hunger strike in the presence of his adherent Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP convenor but this time it seems that he will not be able to meet Anna at Ralegan Siddhi to support him during his fight for the Jan Lokpal bill.
\nKejriwal tweeted on Thursday morning, “I wanted 2 go n meet Anna 2day but fell ill last nite. Running v high fever. But my heart is at ralegan.”<\/p>\n

However, other members of the AAP party will go with Kumar Vishwas to Ralegan Siddhi.<\/p>\n

Anna Hazare\u2019s fast enters second day<\/span><\/p>\n

Anna Hazare continues his hunger strike on the second day, despite the chilling 6 degrees Celsius, on a platform near the Yadavbaba Temple in the Ahmednagar district. Jantantra Morcha is the name of the new organisation of the activist.<\/p>\n

The ruling party has responded that the Lokpal Bill will be passed in the current winter session of parliament.<\/p>\n

Balsahsaheb Thorat, revenue minister of Maharashtra, met Hazare to ask him to abandon the fast on the request of Prithviraj Chavan, chief minister of Maharashtra. But Hazare declined the request as elimination corruption is his prime goal. \u201cNeither Congress nor BJP is thinking about Jan Lokpal, about decentralisation of power,\u201d Hazare said.<\/p>\n

Anna Hazare begins indefinite fast, says Congress betrayed him<\/h2>\n

Anna Hazare, the renowned social activist, is back in form to give a new blow to the ruling party. He has decided to begin an indefinite hunger strike from Tuesday in Ralegan Sidhi, showing his condemnation for the Centre as it has failed to introduce Jan Lokpal Bill.<\/p>\n

He also mentioned about the false promise made by Sonia Gandhi during his last hunger strike, saying, \u201cSonia Gandhi wrote a letter stating that the government is ready to bring Jan Lokpal Bill and said please end your fast. I trusted her and I ended my fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further added, \u201cI had promised the people of India that if the government does not pass the Jan Lokpal Bill, then I will sit on \u2018anshan\u2019 from the first day of the winter session at Ramlila Maidan. I am not well as I underwent a difficult operation and doctors have asked me to take precautions.”<\/p>\n

Commenting upon the results of the assembly elections in the four states, Anna said, \u201cCongress betrayed the people, who responded appropriately\u201d. \u2018We reap what we sow\u2019 is what the Congress has learnt in the just-concluded assembly elections. \u201cPeople have vented their anger against the Congress in the assembly elections to four states,\u201d Anna said.<\/p>\n
