19 dead in stampede in Varanasi<\/h2>\n

At least 19 people have died in a stampede at Rajghat Bridge in Varanasi. Around 60 people have been injured in the stampede. Rajghat bridge is located between Varanasi and Chandauli. The stampede occurred when followers of Jai Gurudev, a religious leader, were going down from the Rajghat bridge. The followers were heading to Domri village where they had to participate in a two-day camp. District Magistrate of Chandauli, Kumar Prashant, stated that of the injured, five people are in a serious condition. Senior police and administrative officials are carrying our rescue operations.<\/p>\n
