Flood Affected Areas in India<\/h2>\n

Incessant rains have caused floods and landslides in many parts
\nof India, namely six Indian states across the Indian Himalayan Region \u2013 Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Hundreds of villages have been inundated, causing displacement of several lakhs of people, while more than 60 people have died, according to media reports. To carry out rescue operations, various team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) along with the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been sent to the affected areas.<\/p>\n
