Stampede in Bihar during Dussehra<\/h2>\n

A stampede at Gandhi Maidan, Patna during Dussehra celebrations killed at
\nleast 32 people and left many injured, mostly women and children. The
\nincident took place when people were coming back to their homes after
\nwatching ‘Ravan Dehn’. As per media report rumours regarding a live electric
\nwire fallen on the ground created a panic. People tried to get out of the
\nplace. It created rush towards exit. Injured have been immediately taken to
\nPatna Medical College Hospital. It is the second misfortune in a year’s span
\nin the state. The first one happened during Chhathpuja in which 21 persons
\nwere killed.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced Rs 2 lakh to the kin of
\nthose who killed in the tragedy and Rs 50,000 for the seriously injured.
