The biggest benefits of India as a market is its growing economy and huge population. This is what attracts so many organizations to its shores. Just like 2017, 2018 is going to be a promising year of sorts for car and bike lovers in India since a number of top brands are expected to launch their products for the Indian market in the ensuing year. For example, one of the major names in this regard is the BMW (Bavaria Motor Works) i8 Roadster, which looks really great. It is supposed to be launched at the 2018 New Delhi Auto Expo.

Apart from these Hero MotoCorp is looking to make a 300 cc bike, Maruti Suzuki is set to showcase its e-Survivor concept car at the upcoming auto expo, the facelift version of Ford Endeavour is supposed to launch soon. Porsche is supposed to come up with 911 Turbo, Nissan will launch the all electric Leaf, Skoda will unveil Fabia, Suzuki will launch Swift, and Triumph will launch the Tiger motorcycles.

Lamborghini Urus

Urus is the new super SUV (sports utility vehicle) that has been launched by Lamborghini in India on 11 January 2018. It has already been launched in Italy. It has a 4 liter twin turbo V8 engine that powers it along. The car has a horsepower of 650 hp that comes at a rate of 6800 rpm (revolutions per minute). It is also capable of producing torque amounting to 850 Nm (Newton meter) at a rate between 2240 and 4500 rpm. It is said to be quickest of its kind in the world.

Lexus LS 500h

Lexus has already launched LS 500h in India on 15 January 2018. This can be called the single hybrid form of the flagship sedan of this well known car brand. It is supposed to compete with BMW 7-series as well as Mercedes-Benz S-class. It comes with a 3.5 liter V6 petrol engine as well as a couple of electric motors that are together capable of providing the car a horsepower of 354 hp. The car comes with e-CVT transmission that is used to channel all the power.

Audi Q5

Audi Q5 has been launched in India on 18 January 2018. This is the second generation version of Q5 and is expected to have a 2 liter diesel engine that is capable of producing 190 hp. In all likelihood it would be offered alongwith the 2 liter petrol engine of Q7 that can produce 252 hp. The range topping variant in this case is supposed to come with a 3 liter V6 diesel engine that can produce 286 hp. The silhouette of this car is expected to be significantly similar to the model that came out in 2008.
