The passing year has welcomed some very attractive and impressive new models, which have set a tough benchmark for the vehicles coming next year. At the end of the year, we’re seeing some very attractive offers being thrown in to boost the sales of passenger cars.

The year had begun with the ever-growing demand of compact SUVs, and the competition is currently the toughest in this segment. To push sales, most of the new mid-sized SUVs are coming with discounts as standard packages.

Tata Harrier

Tata motors are giving benefits of up to ₹ 65,000 on the Harrier, which include an exchange bonus of ₹ 50,000, and a corporate bonus of ₹ 15,000.

Nissan Kicks

The Nissan Kicks is being offered with an extended warranty and maintenance of five years, instead of the standard three years. It also gets a zero down-payment option inclusive of insurance, at an EMI of just ₹ 18,000 a month.

New Maruti Suzuki Wagon R

Maruti Suzuki’s popular tallboy hatch, the Wagon R underwent a complete redesign in the beginning of this year and got the company’s latest “heartect” platform. The Wagon R is being given away with an exchange benefit of ₹ 25,000 and a corporate discount of ₹5,000.

Mahindra XUV300

Mahindra’s XUV300 has faced tough competition from the likes of Hyundai Venue and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. Like the Kicks, it also gets a five-year extended warranty, along with ₹15,000 exchange bonus. The car also gets accessories worth ₹3,600 and a corporate bonus worth ₹4,500.

Ford Endeavour

Ford’s all-terrain trotter the Endeavour is being offered with benefits over ₹2 lakh for its manual variant, and ₹50,000 for the Automatic variant.

Honda Civic

The 2019 Honda Civic has become the most popular sedan in the segment, giving its already under-duress competition, a tougher time than ever. It gets about ₹2.5 lakh off on the manual and diesel variants, ₹50,000 off on the Automatic, and ₹2 lakh on petrol variants.

Toyota Glanza

Toyota’s Glanza gets benefits of up to ₹35,000, of which twenty thousand rupees are straight-up cash discount, with ₹15,000 exchange bonus. It gets a standard warranty and maintenance of three years.

New cars and facelifts, however, do not have any discounts or offers to provide as of now.
Hyundai, however, has some rather aggressive marketing ideas on mind and post-Diwali, their cars are coming with discounts ranging from a thousand rupees to over two lakh.

Hyundai Santro

Their flagship revisits – the Santro is presently the most affordable Hyundai in the company’s line-up. It will be getting a cash-purchase discount worth ₹30,000 with an old-car exchange of ₹20,000. Collectively, the hatchback gets a flat ₹50,000 off its purchase price – more than enough to ask for.

Hyundai Grand i10 / i10 Nios

Both models of the hatchback are on sale in the market, and the company is happy to continue with this, as long as the numbers are achieved. The Grand i10 will fetch buyers, cash discounts of up to ₹40,000, and exchange bonuses of up to ₹30,000. The Nios, on the other hand, gets a meagre thousand rupees off your total amount only if you’re using an ICICI bank debit or credit card.

Hyundai Xcent

Already on its way out, the Xcent is being pushed as quickly as possible with an eye-popping ₹60,000 off. In addition, exchanging your older vehicle at the Hyundai outlet would fetch you an extra ₹30,000 off, making the Xcent even cheaper than some hatchbacks.

Hyundai Elite i20

Seeing that the new facelift is just around the corner, Hyundai’s flagship hatchback in the Indian market is being given away with a cash discount of ₹10,000 on the base variants, and ₹40,000 on the top-end models.

Selling your old car to Hyundai will fetch you an extra ₹20,000 off which is way more than most cars in the segment have on offer.

Hyundai Verna

The popular sedan from Hyundai’s line-up comes with a cash discount of ₹20,000 and a car exchange bonus of ₹30,000.

Known for its beautiful styling and peppy engine options, the Verna is a worthy opponent for the likes of Ciaz, City and the Vento-Rapid twins.

Hyundai Creta

Staying in the most popular slot for a few years, the Creta now faces falling figures and a struggle to stay afloat, owing to the phenomenal success of the MG Hector and the Kia Altos. To keep it in the competition, the company is offering a cash discount of ₹50,000 and an exchange bonus of ₹30,000.

Hyundai Tucson

The Creta’s elder sibling, the Tucson gets a huge discount of ₹1.25 lakh and an exchange bonus of ₹75,000. With ₹2 lakh off its price, the Tucson becomes a very attractive buy and one should simply not allow such an opportunity to pass if they are to experience a well-bred mid-sized SUV at such a cost.
