A country where sanitation poses a big problem, we needed and wanted (evident from it being a mega-hit) a film like this. And, there are more. There’s Mulk which will take you around the journey of a Muslim family in a Hindu-centric society. Or, if you wanted a film that confronts the issue of the body shaming of women, then that was addressed, too, this year in Fanney Khan. And, if you think we need another take on a student’s life after Taare Zameen Par, we have Hichki, which tells accounts of the ordeal a student goes through in his/her school life.
