4. Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan
This lovely song depicts the challenges faced by common man in the bylanes of Mumbai, the erstwhile Bombay. Music is by O.P. Nayyar from the movie C.I.D (1956). The music itself is worth praising for its picturesque lyrics. Moreover, this song happily conveys “Ae dil hai mushkil jeena yahaan, zara hatt ke, zara bach ke, yeh hai Bombay meri Jaan”.
