6. Paan Singh Tomar (2012)
Paan Singh Tomar is based on the tragic real life story of an Indian Army soldier who was also the gold medal winner at the Indian National Games. However, hardships faced by his family while he was away from home forced him to become a dacoit. The lead role was portrayed by Irrfan Khan. This UTV Motion Pictures produced and Tigmanshu Dhulia directed movie was premiered at London Film Festival’s British Film Institute in 2010. It bagged two awards (Best Feature Film and Best Actor) during 60th National Film Awards 2012.
