Like in other fields, people of Indian origin are increasingly making their mark in the global business world too. Recently, CEOWORLD magazine published its global ranking of the best chief executives across all industries for 2019. Walmart CEO Douglas McMillon was declared as the world number one CEO by the magazine for 2019. Born in 1966, McMillon completed his MBA in Finance from the University of Tulsa. Royal Dutch Shell’s global chief executive Ben van Beurden is the number two CEO in the world. Born in 1958, he is a chemical engineer, associated with Shell since1983.
Not surprisingly, the list of 121 CEOs contains many Indian names too.
