But before that, what has caught the fancy of Tendulkar’s fans is the teaser released on 14 April, a few days before the Master Blaster’s birthday. It will be an understatement to say that the video has gone viral. In fact, the first poster of the film, which was released by Sachin Tendulkar on 11 April, received an overwhelming response.
Biopic on Sachin: Interesting Facts
- This is the first such attempt at documenting Tendulkar’s professional and personal life through a film.
- The Master Blaster will be a part of this biopic as well.
- The film is directed by the Emmy-nominated director, James Erskine and the music has been composed by the Oscar Award winner, A.R. Rahman.
- The release date of Sachin: A Billion Dreams is yet to be revealed.
What to Expect from Sachin: A Billion Dreams?
Going by the teaser, it is fair to assume that the biopic chronicles the life of the man with the highest runs in International cricket. It is likely to showcase Sachin’s rise from being a ‘wild boy’ swinging his bats at the Shivaji Park to a Hero who would put any bowling order in disarray with his ruthless batting. Sachin’s relations with his family and his teacher Ramakant Achrekar are also likely to feature in the film.
This film is expected to bring another bout of happiness to millions of Indians who feel privileged to be born in the ‘Sachin Era’.
