The past year trend asserts that about 75% of qualifying candidate in the top 100 list choose IIT Bombay. 3. IIT Kharagpur:

Established in 1951, this is the oldest IIT and also one of the most prestigious one of the IIT brands. Spread over 2100 acres, the campus has everything you can ask from a top-class university. Located in the posh area of Delhi, Hauz Khas, IIT Delhi was established in 1963. However, it was founded as College of Engineering and Technology in 1961, but soon promoted in the rank and given the tag of IIT. 6. IIT Roorkee:
