The Indira Gandhi National Open University famously known as IGNOU was established in 1985 by an Act of Parliament. This university located in New Delhi aspires to build an inclusive education system in India. IGNOU began its operations by initiating two academic programmes in 1987. This includes Diploma in Management and Diploma in Distance Education.
