What to do to get class 10th CBSE Duplicate Marksheet?

Lost your class 10th CBSE Marksheet

Marksheet is an important document, which is not only essential for enrolling in further studies or getting a job, but also serves as a proof of birth in the absence of birth certificate. But what if your statement of marks is lost? Well, don’t worry as duplicate marksheets can be obtained if you have lost the originals which can be used to fulfil all your purposes.

In 2021, Central board of Secondary Education(CBSE) had launched an online portal( Duplicate Academic Document System) keeping in view the COVID-19 pandemic and the frequent misplacing of academic documents, this system facilitates the candidates with an option to either get a copy online from the Digilocker application or in case the student prefers the hard copy, their parents or the student itself can visit the regional office to obtain their duplicate marksheet.

To get a duplicate hard copy of marksheet and certificate:

  • Start by clicking on this link: https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/dads/List.aspx
  • Candidates already enrolled in CBSE need to log on to the website www.cbse.nic.in .
  • Now click on the portal Students and Parents corner.
  • Proceed to the Stakeholder Support System.
  • Now carefully click on the document, you seek to get a hard copy (Pass certificate, Mark-sheet & Migration Etc.
  • Options are available for both hard and soft copy.
  • Clicking on the hard copy option will take your page to a form which needs to be filled in-order to get the document.
  • The website also provides an option, if the student wants the document through Speed Post or personally pick it up.
  • If the candidate decides to get it through Speed post, they need to pay for the additional charges that come with it.
  • On other hand, if the candidate is picking it up themselves, then they need to carry the acknowledgement slip which is generated after filling online form and then needs to be shown at the regional office in order to secure the document.
  • Also, as soon as the Speed post is dispatched, the candidate will be able to track his/her package.

Guidelines:

  • One needs to fill separate application forms for each duplicate certificate.
  • Candidate applying for duplicates should keep in mind the varying fees according to the year of passing and get the demand draft prepared accordingly. The application should be sent to the Deputy Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Todarmal Marg, Ajmer, (Rajasthan) along with the fee. Those who are personally applying can deposit the fees in cash in Ajmer office.
  • The documents will be received after 15 days excluding the holidays.
  • The certificates shall be collected within three months from the date of depositing the fee otherwise it will be cancelled and the candidate will have to apply afresh for procuring the documents.
  • One should not forget to mention the correct name, parents name and roll number while applying.
  • In case of emergency, the documents can be prepared within 2 days. An extra amount of fee is to be paid for getting the documents early.
  • Migration certificate will be issued only to the successful candidates or those who have been placed in compartment order while seeking admission for further studies. The failed candidates should not apply as they will not be granted the migration.
