‘Tis the season to be jolly! The second edition of Boho Bazaar has added some colour in Delhi’s air. A three-day event made its way to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN) with everything Bohemian.

Yes! You heard it right. The “Boho” or “Hippie” culture has enthralled Indian culture which reflects in eclectic aesthetics chic fashion out there which can be dated back to the 19th century. And Boho Bazaar is an extension of that.

Organized by So Delhi, the event was scheduled in the holiday season to keep the festive mood alive. The tickets were available both online and offline. Online tickets were priced at Rs 149 and the last minute birds had to purchase them at the venue directly for Rs 300.

When we entered from gate no 6, the ground was endearing with cute stalls from stationery to fashion accessories and whatnot. Though we chose to head to the food section first, it was all thronged, and the queue was longer than expected.

The carnival offered a wide range of food from Maggie to chocolate pretzels from Dayum, ice-cream to coffee, there was enough delicacies for everyone to munch on. Another thing which we spotted almost on every table was the presence of the humongous Kadak  Rumali Roti from Indus Flavour which has become uber popular lately.

Apart from food, there was plenty of drinks as well from Grover Zampa’s mulled wine to beer and winter cocktails at pocket-friendly prices.

After feeding ourselves, we moved to the shopping area to indulge in some shopping spree. But we found everything a notch higher than we researched them to be, probably because it was the last day. There was the presence of nearly 50 new brands as the organizer Digant Sharma confirmed to keep established brands aside and give chances to the new and homegrown brands.

However, there was something for everyone as our very own little Sarojini Nagar Market found a spot at the ground. Starting from Rs 100 to Rs 850, Sarojini managed to attract the crowd as always.

There were also stalls for handmade chocolates and cupcakes which started from just Rs 100 and they were delicious.

Keeping with the theme, the ground was decorated with all kinds of fairy glitzy lights, barrels and dream catchers. There was a section which was decorated with quirky cushions and pillows which were covered with long bamboos wrapped in white curtains. It was the perfect spot for your next Instagram picture.

Brownie points: There was a live band performing all your favourite Bollywood and English pop which kept the carnival even more vibrant.

All in all, Boho Bazaar was a mix of pricey and everything affordable (depends on the budget you have 😛 ) but was breathtakingly beautiful and had something for everyone.
