Sabyasachi Mukherjee is now slowly becoming the de-facto wedding designer for the top Bollywood queens

Sabyasachi Mukherji- the man needs no introduction. His designer works speak for him – scratch that – sing praises for him! The most famous fashion designer in India is now slowly becoming the de-facto wedding designer for the top Bollywood queens. And, why not! His works are class apart and have that necessary bling mixed with the sophistication that is required to rev up a wedding celebration. No wonder A-listers choose him for their wedding dresses as well as the entire trousseau. Below are the Bollywood celebrities who chose to get draped in the Bengali designer’s adorbs collections.

1. Deepika Padukone

She is the latest bride of the Tinsel town and can’t look more happy and beautiful. In her head-to-toe bespoke Sabyasachi orange and gold silk saree, she was truly the star in her Italy wedding ceremonies. She also wore a red Sabyasachi lehenga completed with a dupatta with ‘Sada Saubhagyawati Bhava’ written on its border! With such an illustrious designer and Ranveer Singh who came with all band baaja baaraat, she undoubtedly had a dream wedding.

2. Anushka Sharma

Here’s the other Bollywood beauty who decided to grace the most special day of her life with Sabyasachi attire. Floral embroidery on powder pink lehenga looked perfect on the blushing bride. The smart girl also chose the designer’s attire for all her pre and post wedding rituals. So here are extra-brownie points for her.

3. Vidya Balan

We all know she’s an epitome of grace and modesty. So, there came little surprise when she donned Sabyasachi creation for her big day. Wearing a red Banarasi saree, she looked spectacular standing next to her groom Siddharth Roy Kapoor. We just can’t help but get dreamy eyed.

4. Soha Ali Khan

Who could dress royal ladies better than Sabyasachi? You got it, nobody. The Pataudi heiress managed to turn heads with her gold-dusted lehenga graced with an orange dupatta on the D-day. The brides-to-be all over the country couldn’t help but drool over. She ditched the usual red and showed us all that spells can be cast through simplicity as well. Kudos to you Soha!

5. Bipasha Basu

We are all aware of the Bengali actress’s love for the red. And, on her wedding day, she added more meaning to this colour. Dressed in all vibrant red with heavy golden embroidery work on it, she gave wedding goals to all women.

6. Asin Thottumkal

The Ghajini actress, too, tried to keep it simple on her wedding day by choosing a beige and golden lehenga with creative hints of maroon in the border. She walked down the aisle with the Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in 2016, but her wedding attire image is still embedded in our minds.
