As the name suggests, the festival of Ganga Mahotsava observes thousands of women worshipping the holy river, Ganges, along its banks. Thousands of lit clay lamps floating on the river is a pleasurable sight at dusk during this festival. Special rituals like chanting of Vedic hymns are also performed on the river banks as a part of Dev Deepavali.

The India Surf Festival is an absolute delight for the surfing lovers. This grand events begins with a morning yoga; the rest of the day observes surfing competitions. Wangala Festival

Wangala Festival

Wangala Festival is the celebration of the harvest season and the onset of winters in the northeastern region of India. This festival is popularly called festival of 100 drums. People dressed in bright attires offer their prayers to the Sun God, play orchestra and dance to the music beats.
