Ingredients needed forĀ Gobhi Ki Kheer

(serves 4)

Gobhi – 2 cup (cut in small pieces)

Milk – 1 lt.

Sugar – 1/2 cup (substitute as needed)

Elaichi powder – 1 tsp

Kesar – few strands (mix them with 2 tsp milk)

Dry fruits for garnishing

How to make Gobhi Ki Kheer

Preparation time: 10 min.

Cooking time: 20 min.

Boil water in a pan, when its ready, add gobhi and boil it for few minutes.

Drain the water and wash with regular water to remove any odor.

Blend the gobhi in a blender to make coarse powder.

In a heavy bottom pan, boil the milk, when its starts to boil, add the gobhi powder, keep boiling till it thickens.

Add elaichi powder, kesar milk and mix well.

Add sugar and mix thoroughly.

Pour it in serving bowls, garnish with dry fruits and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

Serve.
