It’s no rocket science your skin needs all the moisture it can get in harsh winters. But, you can do better at preserving in the moisture this season. Whenever you wash your face, apply the moisture right away on the damp skin only. This will seal in the moisture. Better yet keep a moisturiser near your sink, the show stall or bathtub, so you never miss on it.

Also, check if your moisturiser has petroleum-based ingredients. These can do more bad than good to your skin. They can further dry it up – the last thing you want in chilly months. Pick one which has nourishing ingredients like jojoba, chamomile, lavender, and the likes of them. Also, take one which is an oil-based solution instead of one which is water-based. In the end, beauty is moisturised skin deep only!

One quick tip: As much as we love the hot water in winters for bathing, it should be avoided as it strips off necessary oils skin needs. Try sticking to lukewarm water only.
