Jaipur Literature Festival is an annual event that has been held at the Diggi Palace since it was founded in the year 2006. Entry to the event is free and open for all. The Jaipur Festival will run from 21-25 January 2016 with visitors from across the globe marking their attendance.

If you’re inquisitive about knowing everything about Karan Johar (his childhood, how he learnt from his father, his decision to enter Bollywood etc.) then ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ is a must-attend event. Presented by Zee Entertainment, this event (timing is between 3:45p.m. and 4:45 p.m.) has the director-cum-producer Karan Johar and HT editor Poonam Saxena in conversation with Shobhaa De. The venue for this event is Rajnigandha Silver Pearls Front Lawns.

ü      You Can-Be Smarter and Wiser

This is a book to be launched by Sanjoy Roy and Namita Gokhale at an event scheduled to take place between 4:45 p.m.-5:15 p.m. at Rajnigandha Silver Pearls Front Lawns. Written by Meera Shenoy and Prasad Kaipa, You Can-Be Smarter and Wiser offers you a plethora of real life stories that cover entrepreneurs some who are blind and others on wheelchairs. You can grab brilliant lessons on how such individuals have built businesses with an extensive amount of zest and energy.

ü      Parallax

Pakistan-born Shahzia Sikander has achieved global recognition for challenging the strict formal tropes of miniature painting and medium-based restrictions via experimenting with media and scale. Parallax is an event that has her in conversation with Anne F. Rothenberg Professor of English and American Literature and Language Homi K. Bhabha, baring everything about her past, her current projects and future directions.  Scheduled to take place between 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., the programme’s venue is Baithak.
