Indian-American Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee’s remark on the current Indian economy has been criticised by some of the leaders from the BJP. Banerjee told that finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman was his contemporary at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi. He further added they shared almost similar views on specific issues.
India inks on Kartarpur corridor

61% of milk samples fail to pass quality test in Ahmedabad
Adulteration in milk is common in India. Of late in a sample survey in Ahmedabad, it is found that 61 per cent of milk samples collected from several parts of Ahmedabad failed to pass in quality test. National Milk Safety and Quality Survey stated this.
