Training as a Spy At 16 Year Old

He was born in Uttarakhand’s Gangolihat, in the Pithoragarh district. He was only 16 when he registered in the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agency in 2003. He comes from a military family of military. He completed his unique espionage and commando training in Israel over two-and-a-half years. Lucky has been sent on missions across multiple nations as a RAW agent and has served in the Indian Army, Special Forces, and the Assam Rifles.

Bodyguard to High politicians: Rajnath Singh to Modi

He enlisted in the National Security Guard (NSG) to escape his demanding life as a RAW agent. Many prominent Indian political figures, including former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, and senior BJP figure LK Advani, have used him as a bodyguard. These individuals include Narendra Modi, who served as Gujarat’s Chief Minister, Rajnath Singh, the former Home Minister, and many others.

In November 2010, Lucky was a key security detail member who accompanied former US President Barack Obama on his tour of India.

3 Years of false jail

One of the largest gangsters in the state, Lucky was detained by the Uttarakhand Police in September 2011 on suspicion of double murder. He was imprisoned for more than three years and transferred to eleven prisons. On March 11, 2015, he was freed after three years. On March 6, 2018, the Nainital district court found no evidence against him and granted him a clean sheet.

A Bollywood storyteller

In 2018, Lucky re-enlisted in the Special Forces and retired in 2019. That same year, he started working as a writer in Indian cinema. Thus far, he has penned three web series and one movie. In addition, he has 1.2 million Instagram followers, which is a huge following.

Biopic and autobiography

Following Sachin Tendulkar, Bisht’s story is the second biopic to be published by Simon & Schuster. S Hussain Zaidi, a crime writer and former investigative journalist, wrote the book “R.A.W. Hitman: The Real Story of Agent Lima,” which highlights his work across a variety of government security agencies, including the Indian Army, Research and Analysis Wing, Special Forces, Assam Rifles, and leadership roles in missions conducted in different countries. According to Bisht in an exclusive interview in 2022, Zaidi and Bisht discussed his life, profession, and travels worldwide while working as an agent for RAW (Research and Analysis Wing).

It has been intriguing and somewhat intentional for Lucky Bisht to move from the bureaucratic realms of government to the artistic realms of Bollywood. He’s always lived with a higher aim. His goal as a member of the security services was to serve the country with the highest sincerity; now that he is in Bollywood, he hopes to accomplish the same goal, albeit through a slightly different medium. This time, he wants to use strong narrative and visuals to further his goals.

Mumbai and Haldwani are the locations of Lucky Bisht’s offices in India. He also has a vast distribution network spanning all of India. His production company constantly negotiates with different performers and crew members to provide the audience with the most educational content! Going above and beyond, he intends to revive underutilised yet inspirational stories. There’s no better way to make an impression on an audience than by telling them stories they’ll remember.
