When your ears are brimming with echoes of laughter, gags, cheers and applauds, you are definitely watching a David Dhawan movie! The King of comedy knows exactly how to transform a classic blockbuster into a masterpiece. Yes, you guessed it right! Chashme Baddoor turns out to be one of the best remakes ever made in bollywood. While retaining the original’s plot and essence, David Dhawan has added some zesty flavor to it so much so that it would make you forget the original.

This spicily modernized story which has been picturized in Goa, features three best friends ( two of them being the cheesy womanisers and the third one, the typical Mr.Goody Two-shoes) with a carefree existence. Their friendship faces a challenge when one of friends wins the heart of the girl the other two have been trying their luck on. What follows is the uproarious sequence of comedy when the two friends break the two of them apart out of jealousy. All the actors have done justice to the old characters from the original script. They are amazingly hilarious and entertaining.Ali Zafar, with his extremely cute and heart-melting looks, will steal your heart away. Siddharth in his new avatar of a playboy, is a delight to watch. Divyendu Sharma (liquid from “Pyar Ka Punchnama”) steals away all the attention with his exceptionally comical and original shayari (poetry). He is the true essence of the movie. The movie also introduces Tapsee Pannu, a fresh face in the industry. An average looking girl with an above average talent of acting. She actually looks adorable. All the stars manage to impress you with their out of the world expressions.

The music has been given by the duo, Sajid-Wajid. The songs seem to have been composed in a hurry with annoying lyrics and even more annoying music. Sajid-Wajid have failed to hit the right tunes in this project. The double-meaning and witty dialogues of the movie will make you fall off the seat, laughing like crazy.  All in all, the movie will give you good two hours of entertainment right from the first scene itself. David Dhawan has proved that yes, remakes can be made! After a long time, we finally have one paisa-vasool flick. Give it a shot to get away with all your stress; you might actually come back with hurting cheeks!  So Chashme Baddoor, do watch it zaroor! :p

Verdict:  The film will definitely make you roll on the floor laughing (ROFL). Be careful. 😀
