Plot

Hate Story 4 is the fourth installment of the highly popular Hate Story series. Hate Story 4 is an erotic thriller with a bunch of sensual and revenge scenes and the usual story of two brothers in love with the same woman. Rajvir, played by Karan Wahi, is a professional photographer who happens to meet Taasha (Urvashi Rautela) who is a low-profile dancer in the happening city of London. But, Urvashi is jaw-dropping beautiful and harbors the ambition of becoming a successful supermodel. Besotted with Taasha’s killer looks, Rajvir recommends Tassha to be the new face of Vikram Khurana’s (Gulshan Grover’s) tourism campaign. Incidentally, Vikram is Rajvir’s father. Rajvir also has a brother Aryan (Vivan Bhatena) Though Aryan is already in love with a girl, Rishma (Ilana Dhillon), the sight of the sultry Taasha is too much for him to handle and eventually, he too ends up enamoured by the ravishing beauty. Thereafter what follows is complex relationships, erotic scenes, hatred, and revenge.

Movie Review

Like the previous films in the Hate Story series, this one too is a revenge drama. Apart from the fact that it is high on the skin quotient part, there is not much that the film has to offer to viewers. Bollywood has already churned out numerous movies on the theme of two brothers enamoured with the same woman; thus, in that context, it can be said that Hate Story is an instance of old wine being packaged in a new bottle. Urvashi looks ravishing on screen and the chemistry between Urvashi-Karan and Urvashi-Vivan will surely have you focused. Karan has done a decent job, but Vivan is a bit average. At times, it does seem that the movie tends to become a bit boring the racy scenes tend to cover that up. Overall the movie has a weak plot, the execution is flawed and there is a lot of melodrama.

Our Verdict:

Watch the movie only if you are a fan of the Hate Story series or of thriller movies. The movie is bang on average as the movie fails to stitch a different story than the previous three-instalments.
