With the end of 2019, we hope the end of the spree of bad films will also be in sight. To count the blessings first, every year, we are gifted with some brilliant movies. Making 2019 memorable are films like The Sky is Pink by Shonali Bose which has nurtured grief with such sensitivity or Gully Boy by Zoya Akhtar which is inspired by the lives of Indian street rappers from the Dharavi.
At the same time, there are certain films which are sheer cinematic trash that we survived through.
