LeEco-Le-1S

In the past couple of weeks, LeEco with its mid-range Le 1s flagship has already created waves in the Indian smartphone market. The phone has managed to draw attention with its pricing and specifications. Today, LeEco Le 1S has been launched in India. With a pricing of INR 10,999, LeEco Le is currently up for sale exclusively on Flipkart.

A closer look at the specifications

As an attempt to achieve desirability, the LeEco Le 1S has been manufactured using metal with two plastic strips running along the top and bottom of the rear so as to enable the functioning of multiple antennas. Quite similar to its older sibling, the LeEco Le 1S comes with an aluminium frame uni-body design. It also features a metallic back that sports a fingerprint sensor along with Lety branding. Next, there is a 5.5-inch IPS display with back-lit capacitive touch navigation keys. There is a 3.5mm headset jack which is placed towards the top and a micro-USB port available with the speaker which is placed at the bottom. With a premium-cum-sturdy design, the LeEco Le 1S smartphone has a thickness of 7.5mm-inch which makes it comfortable to hold and carry.

The LeEco Le 1S is available in a wide range of colour modes like vivid, Natural and soft. Also, the smartphone is equipped with stunning sunlight legibility with zero pixilation. As slim as the iPhone 6S or 6S plus, LeEco Le 1S has a bezel-less screen and a SIM slot at the side.

What’s the storage capacity of the phone?

LeEco Le 1S comes with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB Emmc5.0 non-expandable internal memory.  The smartphone supports Android Lollipop with the EUI (Eco User Interface) skinning.

What are the connectivity options?

LeEco Le 1S has facilities including 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and USB Type C.

What about the camera?

LeEco Le 1S comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The rear camera is equipped with exciting features like PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and LED flash. You can use it for shooting videos in 4K resolution. The camera also supports slow motion. Talking about the custom settings, you can conveniently set the white balance, contrast, saturation level, sharpness, ISO level and exposure. If you are a casual photographer, LeEco Le 1S is the smartphone you can’t afford to miss. Additionally, if you are a selfie lover, then the 5-megapixel front facing camera will surprise you pleasantly. The beauty mode of sorts effectively smoothens out wrinkles and enhances the skin tone of the person being clicked.

What about overall performance and battery life?

If you intend to use all the heavy applications on your phone, then buying LeEco Le 1S can turn to be your decision. The 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Mediatek Helio X10 Processor coupled with 3GB of RAM ascertains smooth operation of the phone. For the serious gamers who prefer playing graphic intensive games on their hand-held devices, Le 1S can turn to be the best purchase. Talking about the battery life, the 3000mAh battery can conveniently last through a day of medium to heavy usage. Plus, the USB Type-C port supports fast charging, making the phone stand out.

The Verdict

With zinch heating issues and a big screen to enjoy content on, the LeEco Le 1S is an absolutely amazing multi-tasker. The only downside includes the lack of an expandable memory, a professional camera mode and NFC. However, the affordable pricing doesn’t leave any confusion for consumers who intend to get the feel of an iPhone without spending a hefty sum of cash.
