The most awaited film of the year, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, is finally out today in theatres. This movie has got all the elements, which make it a blockbuster. Frenetic pace, striking Kaiju action, some lovely hero moments and bit of myths exploring protagonist origin, making it truly adventurous and amazing.

Plot: The plot of the story revolves around the valorous efforts made by the crypto-zoological agency Monarch. The members of this agency face many odds fighting the menace of god sized monsters. The movie stages a war between the prehistoric beast and his crooked cousins, including Megamoth Mothra and Ghidorah. In the end, the ultimate nemesis, three headed King Ghidorah collides with the prehistoric beast. The moment one considers these ancient superspecies merely as myths, during the course they rise again. Each one of them is struggling to gain supremacy and control over the Earth, without even giving a thought about humanity’s very existence and the consequences.
Movie Review: This movie comes out with the neat and subtle characterization of not only the human race but also the Titans. The mythical stories which are glimpsed in the movie do not consume much time. Moreover, they clearly serve the purpose by letting us know who the Titans are. The nicely rendered visual effects (VFX), sound effects and neatly animated background score adds the power in the well-paced plot. If the characters had been portrayed in a more descriptive manner during the beginning of the movie, then we might have respected and worshipped the king of monsters. In the end, you leave the theatre wondering whether you saw an action thriller or a ‘Save the environment’ feel good movie!
Our Verdict: Godzilla 2 is an engaging movie, as it portrays the battle between the monsters. You will surely enjoy the movie if you watch it in a theatre because of the VFX. Go ahead, if you love animation and VFX. It is a treat for action fans.
