Plot: The film is based on a comic book character with the same name “Captain Marvel”. The story takes us back to the origin of our female protagonist and her struggles. Furthermore, the movie covers a big timeline from her beginning to the present-day scenario. The importance of this film is massive because it is the last link before the “Avengers: Endgame”.

Movie Review: Brie Larson has lived up-to the expectations of the fans of the “Marvel Cinematic Universe” (MCU) by delivering us “Captain Marvel”. She has taken into the role as if, the comic book itself was conceived while keeping her in mind. She has taken to the skin of the character splendidly and is surely going to stay forever in the minds of people as “Captain Marvel”. Samuel L Jackson has shown us a completely new side of “Nick Fury” in this film. Although I would like to see him at his usual swearing-tearing-bad man character but he has portrayed a subtle “Fury” in this one. He has delivered, what was expected of him. Jude Law has entered the MCU with this film. Although we barely get a glimpse of him in the official trailer. The movie has great 3-D Effects, VFX and Graphic Effects. It is at par with every MCU film that has ever come to us in every sense. It has a great soundtrack from our beloved 90’s. There are songs from Nirvana, Salt-N-Peppa, Garbage and a few other famous bands as well.

The movie fits perfectly into the MCU. For those who have seen “Avengers: Infinity War” would recall that in the post credit scenes Nick Fury is seen sending a message through his pager to an anonymous symbol. Which we got to know was Captain Marvel’s symbol. This movie has made us wait an entire year after “Avengers: Infinity War”, but the wait was worth it. It has at least half a dozen scenes giving you goosebumps. The story has been brushed beautifully on-screen, along with carrying the torch further towards “Avengers: Endgame”. There are a few things, which we all know by now are signature MCU, like the post credit and hidden references connecting the complete MCU. You will get to see the same in this one as well.

P.S. – You will get to know a little more about “Nick Fury” in this one like “how he got the scar on the eye?” and “where did the name Avenger came from?” Keep an eye out for the cat.

Our Verdict: You cannot afford to miss this one if you want to see “Avengers: Endgame”. Our female protagonist has lived up to our expectations and beyond. This is a complete package and entertainer. Even if you haven’t seen the rest of MCU films, you can still see this one. This film has lot of hidden Easter eggs that will help you connect the dots. Do not just walk out of the cinema hall after the post credit scene is shown as another thrilling scene is waiting.
