Movie Plot

Kalindi (Kareena Kapoor Khan) and Rishabh (Sumeet Vyas) are having a wedding which is filled with show off, and thus is quite bothersome for Kalindi. However, she is ready to let all the worries go and celebrate with her three childhood friends. They are from different walks of life, having their own set of problems to deal with. They are bold, but not falwless. The girls aren’t perfect but they dare to make mistakes. The movie includes a bit of chatter, a bit of fun, some harsh realities and many secrets, which are unfolded.

Movie Review

The plot may not be an unheard concept, but it refreshing to see Bollywood bring out a pack of excellent lady performers, with characters which depict the much-needed feminism in society. The progressive plot represents the open-minded women of modern society, who are always in style, and are not afraid to use cuss words or talk about pre-marital sex (which not many people from the audience may not approve of). They have the charm and can laugh on their existing problems. The four gal-pals have a good chemistry, but it seems that the movie needed a little more detailing. Viewers wouldn’t be able to dive into the soul of characters. Also, the movie often has elongated scenes of conversations between the girls, that the story gets stuck at one point for way too long. However, the movie has right amount of “Crazy” so the youth enjoys. Several hilarious dialogues and situational comedy would make you giggle.

Our Verdict

The plot is indeed brave, for including such nonchalant, gutsy and high-spirited women. The background music sets the mood whenever its needed. Young generation would be able to relate well with the characters and the dilemmas they face. In short, the movie is entertaining enough to have a good popcorn time with friends.
